    Until the 31st of May the main building of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts presents an exhibition dedicated to the Mummies of Ancient Egypt, the Art of Immortality. The exposition includes more than 400 exhibits, most of which visitors will see for the first time.

    The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts has completed the first stage of the study of archaeological objects discovered by Heinrich Schliemann during the excavations of Troy in 1872-1890. For many years, 13 treasures were not shown to the public. For the first time about the Gold of Troy also known as Priam’s Treasure people started talking in 1996, when a sensational exhibition was arranged.

  • THE 21ST SEASON OF THE INTERNATIONAL BALLET FESTIVAL DANCE OPEN IN SAINT-PETERSBURG

    From 5 to 15 April, Saint-Petersburg will host the 21st season of the Dance Open International Ballet Festival. The largest choreographic forum in Russia will return to the historical stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre. The festival will be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Committee for Culture of Saint-Petersburg.
    The event will be attended by 10 famous ballet companies and more than 250 artists from Russia, Belgium, Germany, the Principality of Monaco, Spain, Great Britain, the USA, the Netherlands, and Poland.
