From July 15th, Russia has lifted the restrictions on crossing its land borders established in connection with the pandemic. Foreign tourists once again have the opportunity to enter our country on regular bus lines Lux Express and Ecolines.
The Republic of Georgia is situated in the South-East of Europe and occupies the Central and Western part of Transcaucasia. It is bordered on the North by Russia, on the East by Azerbaijan, on the South by Armenia and Turkey. In the West it is washed by the Black Sea. The territory of Georgia is mostly mountainous; more than a third is covered by dense forests. In the north, the border with Russia runs along the main ridge of the Caucasus Mountains, where there are the highest points of the country, the highest of which is mount Shkhara (5068 m). The capital of Georgia is Tbilisi. The total area amounts 69.7 thousands sq. km.
Georgia is something mysterious, shrouded in legends, a country with an ancient history and unique culture, kind and sympathetic people, a country of flowers and songs, a country of temples, mountains and blue sky.
