INTERNATIONAL TOURISM DAY

St. Petersburg as well as the rest of the world celebrates the International Tourism Day this week. A water carnival timed to coincide with the holiday took place on Saturday. SUP-festival participants - stand-up paddlers - swam along the Moika River and the canals of the center of the Northern Capital of Russia.
HERMITAGE MUSEUM DAYS IN VLADIVOSTOK

For the 6th time, the Hermitage Museum Days have opened in Vladivostok. The event takes on an international format - the staff of the country's main museum share their experience with their Far Eastern colleagues, as well as with the art critics from Mongolia, China, Korea and Japan.

Georgia

The Republic of Georgia is situated in the South-East of Europe and occupies the Central and Western part of Transcaucasia. It is bordered on the North by Russia, on the East by Azerbaijan, on the South by Armenia and Turkey. In the West it is washed by the Black Sea. The territory of Georgia is mostly mountainous; more than a third is covered by dense forests. In the north, the border with Russia runs along the main ridge of the Caucasus Mountains, where there are the highest points of the country, the highest of which is mount Shkhara (5068 m). The capital of Georgia is Tbilisi. The total area amounts 69.7 thousands sq. km.


Georgia is something mysterious, shrouded in legends, a country with an ancient history and unique culture, kind and sympathetic people, a country of flowers and songs, a country of temples, mountains and blue sky. The history of the country is a long list of ups and downs of different empires, the attempts of the external invasions, violence and wars.
