MUSEUMS OF RUSSIA JOIN THE INTERNATIONAL #MUSEUMSELFIE CAMPAIGN

On the 19th of January, the international Twitter campaign #MuseumSelfie was held online. On this day, social media users around the world post photos of themselves in museums.At the initiative of the Kultura.RF portal, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, museums of Russia held the campaign in an expanded format. Photos were published not only on Twitter, but also in other popular in Russia social networks. You can follow the progress of the action on Facebook, Instagram, VK, etc.
Not only employees and visitors of museums, but also other cultural institutions can use hashtags and participate in the campaign using the main hashtags of the International Action: #CultureSelfie or #MuseumSelfie.
The annual #MuseumSelfie international campaign was first held in January 2014. Its initiators, the authors of the Culture Themes blog, emphasize that the flash mob is purely entertaining.
