START OF NAVIGATION IN ST. PETERSBURG

The long-awaited event for residents and guests of the city - the beginning of navigation in St. Petersburg! This year navigation will start on the 27th of April. It means that from the 27th of April it will be possible to enjoy excursions along the rivers and canals of the city again. St. Petersburg is called the Northern Venice for a reason. The city and its surroundings are crossed by 48 canals and 64 rivers. This gives guests the opportunity to see the city in all its diversity from the water. The city consists of dozens of small and large islands separated by rivers and canals. During a boat trip you will have a new look at many of St. Petersburg's famous sights and perhaps discover them from a different perspective.
The best way to explore St. Petersburg in a pleasant and relaxing way is to go on a boat trip along the water ways of the city. The historical districts of the city are situated on numerous islands of the delta of the River Neva as it enters the Gulf of Finland in the eastern part of the Baltic Sea. The gorgeous architectural ensembles, cathedrals and monuments wonderfully harmonize with the calm waters of rivers and canals. Granite clad rivers and canals, stairs descending to the water, bridges that span the banks are inseparable elements of the city architecture. This trip allows you to see a different aspect of St. Petersburg which is often called the Venice of the North.
