We will go down the famous metro. St. Petersburg metro was opened in 1955. Nowadays, it is considered to be one of the deepest in the world. Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood (Resurrection of Christ Church)
This church was built by emperor Alexander III to immortalize to memory of his father Alexander II who had been assassinated on the place where the church is now. One can say that the church is a personification of religious architecture of ancient Moscow. From the outside the walls are faced with specially prepared red bricks and richly decorated with glazed bricks panels and tables. In the history of arts there is hardly any other example of equal dimensions: the mosaics of the church were based on original paintings of great Russian painters, 1000 m² of the facade and 6000 m² of the interiors are covered with mosaics.

The museum of Dostoevsky
The life of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky is tightly connected to St. Petersburg. Since 1837 when Dostoevsky arrived to the city he moved flat 20 times. In the books of the famous writer we find the streets and buildings of St. Petersburg. However, the house on the corner of Kuznechny street and Dostoevsky street is considered to be one of the most famous of his dwellings. It was here where Dostoevsky wrote his famous novel "The Karamazov brothers”. The interior decoration of the house is typical of the time, the museum exhibition allows us to know more about the life of the famous maestro.
