The long-awaited event for residents and guests of the city - the beginning of navigation in St. Petersburg! This year navigation will start on the 27th of April. It means that from the 27th of April it will be possible to enjoy excursions along the rivers and canals of the city again.

At the end of September, 2021 Russian southern city of Sochi will host the sixth Formula 1 Championship stage - the Russian Grand Prix. It will take place from 23 to 26 September. Together with Formula 1, Formula 2 support races will be held. Moreover, in the new season Formula 2 will hold three races per stage.

To commemorate the Navy Day the naval parade took place in Kronstadt and in the center of St. Petersburg on 25 July. It was timed to coincide with the 325th anniversary of the Russian fleet. Traditionally, the main spectator was Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The painting The Beautiful Gardener, also known as Madonna and Child with Saint John the Baptist, by Raphael was delivered from the Louvre Museum (Paris) to the Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg). From 21 July to 19 September Raphael's masterpiece can be seen in the Apollo Hall of the Winter Palace.

The exhibition “Italian Futurism from the Mattioli Collection and Russian cubo-futurism from the Russian Museum and private collections” was launched in Mikhailovsky Castle in St. Petersburg on 15 July. Within the framework of the exhibition it is possible to see the works of Burliuk, Malevich, Modigliani and other famous artists.

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts will present the exhibition "The Muses of Montparnasse" in Moscow. Opening of the exposition in the Gallery of 19th-20th century European and American art is scheduled for 15 July. The exhibition is dedicated to the legends of the Parisian district of Montparnasse - women who set the tone for one of the brightest eras.

Italy became the winner of the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship. The Italian team beat England in the final game which was held at Wembley Stadium in London. The whole tournament took place from 11 June to 11 July, 2021. The European Championship was planned for 2020 but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

To enter Ukraine they must have a medical insurance issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine, and covering the costs related to the treatment of COVID-19, observation, and be valid for the entire period of stay in Ukraine.

The decisive stage of Euro 2020 is finished. According to the results of the games that took place in different European cities, including St. Petersburg, all quarterfinal pairs were determined. The quarter-finals will be played on 2 and 3 July. The last ticket to the next round of the tournament was won by the Ukrainian national team, who beat the Swedish team in extra time with a score of 2: 1.
