The coastline on the Black Sea is a popular summer destination for vacationers. Ukraine has vineyards, ruins of ancient castles, historical parks, Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant churches as well as a few mosques and synagogues. Kiev - the capital of Ukraine and the mother city for all Eastern Slavic people. The modern centre and the remains of the old city are both on the hilly Western bank of the Dnipro River. Today Kiev is the city to be admired up close and from afar, a dramatic skyline and a charismatic blend of business, art and culture.
