The long-awaited event for residents and guests of the city - the beginning of navigation in St. Petersburg! This year navigation will start on the 27th of April. It means that from the 27th of April it will be possible to enjoy excursions along the rivers and canals of the city again.

MIR Travel Company will tell you where and how to get there! The excursion is called the Golden Ring of Russia and passes through several Old Russian cities. The route itself was developed in 1967 with the inclusion of 8 cities: Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov the Great, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Suzdal and Vladimir.
Included:
Day 1. the panoramic tour of the city, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Hermitage.
Day 2. Peterhof (Upper and Lower parks), Pushkin (the Amber Room).
2 Days
DAY 1. ST. PETERSBURG
Meeting with your local guide in the hall of the St. Petersburg port terminal.
Departure for the panoramic tour of the city during which you will see the perspective of Nevsky Avenue, the Square of Fine Arts and the Cathedral of St. Isaak, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and the Mariinsky Theater. We will visit the Peter and Paul Fortress considered to be the historical centre of the city and we will enter the first cathedral of St. Petersburg – one of St. Peter and St. Paul. Next we will visit the cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan.
Free time for lunch.
Then we visit the Hermitage, the largest museum in Russia and one of the most important and well-known in the world. The museum collections originated by the Empress Catherine the Great in 1764 today contain more than 3 million samples dating from prehistoric to modern times and are exhibited in 400 rooms. Its real jewels are paintings of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, Rembrandt, P.P. Rubens, A. Van Dyck, El Greco...

DAY 2. ST. PETERSBURG
Meeting with your local guide in the hall of the St. Petersburg port terminal.
Today we go to one of the most beautiful summer residences of the Russian Emperors - Peterhof. The Peterhof or Petrodvorets ensemble is a city of parks, palaces and fountains, founded in the early 18th century by Peter the Great to commemorate the glory of Russia. The excursion includes a walk through the parks only (Upper and Lower parks).
Free time for lunch.
Then we will visit another fascinating monument of architecture and gardening, Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo). The combination of gold, sky blue walls, snowy columns and a silver ceiling create an impressive effect. The jewel of the palace - the Amber Room - is known as the eighth wonder of the world. The romantic alleys around the Catherine Palace invite for a walk to see the pavilions and ponds of the favorite park of the Russian Emperors.
Return to the port.
