DAY 1. ST. PETERSBURG
Meeting with your local guide in the hall of the St. Petersburg port terminal.
Departure for the panoramic tour of the city during which you will see the perspective of Nevsky Avenue, the Fine Arts Square and the Saint Isaak Cathedral, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the Mariinsky Theater. We will visit the Peter and Paul Fortress considered to be the historical center of the city and the cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan. We will go to the famous metro of St. Petersburg. It was opened in 1955 and today it is considered the deepest in the world. Numerous stations are richly decorated with molding, bas-reliefs and mosaics. The subway is the most widely used public transport among Peterburgers because it allows people to move quickly around the city. During our excursion we will visit the newest station – Admiralteyskaya, one of the deepest metro stations in the world and is 86 meters deep. A walk through the city center of St. Petersburg allows you to know the life of the city, its history and its culture. Then our path goes along the main street - Nevsky prospect. Walking down the street you will feel the unforgettable atmosphere. Here you can find small cafes next to fancy restaurants, modest hostels near elegant hotels.
Return to the port.
