ANCIENT EGYPTIAN MUMMIES IN THE PUSHKIN MUSEUM IN MOSCOW

Until the 31st of May the main building of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts presents an exhibition dedicated to the Mummies of Ancient Egypt, the Art of Immortality. The exposition includes more than 400 exhibits, most of which visitors will see for the first time.

On the 4th of April the new art project was opened in Ivanovo - Tarkovsky.Return to the Motherland, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Andrei Tarkovsky. The exhibition features archival photography and audio recordings, as well as lectures by film critics devoted to the director's works.

Spotify has named the most popular Russian musicians abroad. By a wide margin, the list of the most listened to Russian performers abroad was headed by the Russian composer and conductor P. Tchaikovsky. He became the most popular Russian artist among foreign users of the Spotify platform at the end of 2020. His masterpieces the Waltz of the Flowers, the Swan Lake and others are enduringly popular abroad. Tchaikovsky's compositions performed by various soloists and orchestras were taken into account. Currently, the service has over a hundred playlists with the composer's works. Tchaikovsky is internationally renowned for his music in such operas and ballets as the Queen of Spades, the Swan Lake, the Sleeping Beauty, the Nutcracker, etc. The immortal masterpieces staged in the best theatres all over the world, including the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.
