23 June 2022

The quarantine in Moscow and St. Petersburg was extended until June 15th, however, from June 1st, a gradual return to normal operation has already begun. Russian airlines return domestic flights and passenger seating restrictions in the trains were repealed.
The international air traffic will be restored gradually. At the first stage, airlines will begin operating flights to the CIS countries and Georgia. According to optimistic forecasts, international flights may begin to recover in mid-summer. This was reported by the official representative of Aeroflot Julia Spivakova. The exact time of the resumption of flights is difficult to predict, she said, as it depends on the situation with the spread of the virus worldwide.
