START OF NAVIGATION IN ST. PETERSBURG

The long-awaited event for residents and guests of the city - the beginning of navigation in St. Petersburg! This year navigation will start on the 27th of April. It means that from the 27th of April it will be possible to enjoy excursions along the rivers and canals of the city again.

THE CEREMONIAL PARADE IN HONOR OF THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF VICTORY IN WORLD WAR II

The ceremonial parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in World War II will be held in Moscow on June the 24th, this day is declared a day off. Russian President Vladimir Putin postponed the parade, traditionally scheduled for May the 9th, due to the threat of coronavirus. Parades will be held throughout the country, but the main and the biggest will be the one in Moscow on the Red Square. Military personnel from 19 states will take part in it. Serbia, Kazakhstan and Armenia have already confirmed their participation. Upon arrival in our country, everyone will undergo a medical examination and be tested for COVID-19.
 
The preparations for the parades, that started all over the country, are conducted in accordance with the necessary security measures, including regular disinfection, health monitoring and many more.
 
Almost five thousand troops from four regions, and more than hundreds of military equipment arrived to take part in the parade on Palace Square in St. Petersburg in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Besides, more than 120 female soldiers will participate in the parade this year: signalwomen, radio operators, doctors, psychologists, representatives of the search and rescue and parachute airborne services.
 
A festive salute is also planned in many cities in the evening.
