MOTHER'S DAY IN RUSSIA
10 April 2023

There is probably no country where Mother's Day is not celebrated. In Russia, Mother's Day is celebrated on the last Sunday of November, paying tribute to maternal devotion, their sacrifice for the good of their children and also in order to increase the social significance of motherhood. This year it was celebrated on 29th November, 2020.
Every year Mother's Day becomes more and more popular in Russia. The events dedicated to this day are especially beautiful and touching in preschool and educational institutions where children dedicate to their mothers not only kind words and smiles but a lot of handmade gifts and specially prepared concert performances.
Also, in recent years there are more and more cultural events dedicated to this day which are held in almost all Russian regions. Such as festive events, concerts, exhibitions, meetings etc. Among the many holidays celebrated in Russia, Mother's Day takes a special place. This is a holiday to which no one can remain indifferent. In most European countries, USA, Canada, China, Japan, Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May.
The team of MIR Travel Company would like to thank all Mothers for giving to their children love, kindness, tenderness and affection!
