The Miracle of Light festival has been held in the Northern capital for the sixth time, the festival has become the hallmark of the city. This year the events lasted for two days – 7th and 8th November. The glorious naval victories of Russia became the central theme of this year. Walking along the narrow streets of the Peter and Paul Fortress, the audience not only got acquainted with the history of the Russian Navy, but also participated in the part of the show named Night at the Museum where virtual exhibition halls of various city museums opened their doors before the audience, and the spectators could see exhibits right in the open air including the artifacts of the Kunstkamera, revived sculptures of the Hermitage and the strange characters in the galleries of the Russian Museum. Moving along the route of the festival, spectators found themselves on an exciting journey full of mysticism and magic, accompanied by the play of light and sounds of music. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was decided to hold the show in a hybrid format. This means that the show could have been viewed both online and in the Peter and Paul Fortress. At the same time, everyone who wished to see the action with their own eyes was obliged to use masks, gloves and to practice social distancing.
