From 9 to 11 June, St. Petersburg will host the International Flower Festival. The colorful event will be dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter I, the founder of the city. In the very center of the Northern capital, the best florists from different cities of Russia (St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, Novosibirsk and others) will present their works.21 June 2022
From 9 to 11 June, St. Petersburg will host the International Flower Festival. The colorful event will be dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter I, the founder of the city.
In the very center of the Northern capital, the best florists from different cities of Russia (St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, Novosibirsk and others) will present their works. Masters from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Belarus will also take part in the festival.
During the festival, flower platforms in the Peter the Great era style will be created. They will be dedicated to the main symbols of St. Petersburg. Peterhof, Peter and Paul Fortress, Admiralty, Summer Garden and other popular sights will arise on the platforms.
The festival program will also include master classes, exhibitions of flower bouquets and compositions.
On 9 June - on the birthday of Peter I, a festive concert will be held on Ostrovsky Square.
