Peschanaya Bay is the pearl of the Baikal; it is located 81 km of Listvyanka between two capes topped with cliffs called Bolshaya Kolokolnya and Malaya Kolokolnya (Big and Small Belfry). Not far from it, there is a small island called Baklany Kamen’ (Cormorant Stone). The Baikal ice is in some places covered with snow, and in the other, is as clear as at the skating rink.
