NEW SEASON AT THE MARIINSKY THEATER

On September 2, the new 240th theater season begins at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. In August, the theater, as always, was closed for the summer holidays, but in September the theater reopens its doors for fans of opera and ballet.
The first days of September will be dedicated at the Mariinsky Theater to the famous Russian composer P.I. Tchaikovsky. The theater will show 2 of his major works - Opera The Queen of Spades and Opera Eugene Onegin. As well as the 2 most popular ballets in the world - Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
The Mariinsky Theater is one of the hallmarks of St. Petersburg. His performances are loved by connoisseurs of classical productions who come with pleasure to the historical building of the theater with its richly decorated interiors.
