The Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia said that eight countries, popular holiday destinations, are ready to welcome again guests from Russia. Turkey, Cuba, Mexico, Maldives, Croatia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the Dominican Republic are ready to reopen their borders for Russian tourists. In addition, this list of countries can be supplemented by Spain, Italy and Abkhazia. A medical certificate confirming that the tourist doesn't have coronavirus infection will be required. At the same time, despite the willingness of these states to receive Russian tourists, there is still no exact date of the resumption of international flights to/from Russia. Most probably this will not happen until August.
