START OF NAVIGATION IN ST. PETERSBURG

The long-awaited event for residents and guests of the city - the beginning of navigation in St. Petersburg! This year navigation will start on the 27th of April. It means that from the 27th of April it will be possible to enjoy excursions along the rivers and canals of the city again.

The route itself was developed in 1967 with the inclusion of 8 cities: Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov the Great, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Suzdal and Vladimir. 

ST. PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL BOOK SALON

On May 26-29 the International Book Salon of St. Petersburg will be held in the “Northern Capital” for the 16th time. But for the first time it will take place in the very heart of the city - on the Palace Square and at the General Staff Building of the State Hermitage Museum. In addition, over 200 professional, educational and entertainment events will be held over the four days of the salon. The General Staff building will house a large-scale lecture hall designed for six parallel performances. These stages will host book presentations, master classes and meetings with favorite authors. Everyone will be able to attend the events, although some will be held online. A special Playground will be open every day at the Book Salon. There, young readers will be able to meet and communicate with writers, visit a large exposition of children's and youth literature and various master classes. During the event, the visitors will be able to see the flashmob dance Dancing Dostoyevsky, watch famous Singing Bridges open with literary accompaniment and take part in the excursion Literary St. Petersburg. It will be possible to get to the Book Salon from three different entrances. At each of them, temperature of the visitors will be measured and personal protective equipment will be provided.
