1 Day
DAY 1. RIGA
Meeting with the local guide at the hall of the maritime port terminal of Riga. The tour begins in the boulevards area of the center of Riga, where we can enjoy numerous buildings and monuments. Thus we will see the Arsenal Tower, the National Theater, the Art Noveau buildings built in the beginning of the century, the Freedom Monument, the Opera House, the University of Riga and numerous bridges over the Daugava River. Once we reach the Old Town we will see the Dome Cathedral, the St. Peter’s church, the Old medieval Castle, the house of Blackheads, the buildings of the Old Guilds, the Three Brothers complex, the Parliament and many other buildings converted into restaurants, pubs and souvenir shops. Riga has traditionally been a hub between east and west and from this point is recovering its former privileged situation as a commercial and tourist center within the Baltic region.
NB The order of the visits is subject to change according to the museum work hours.
