DURING THE 2018 WORLD CUP, THE NUMBER OF FOREIGNERS ON WATER EXCURSIONS IN ST. PETERSBURG INCREASED BY HALF

According to the data of the Water Tourism Center during the World Cup, the number of foreign tourists on water excursions along the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg increased by 1.5 times compared to the first half of the summer of 2017. 

Most of the passengers on the boat tours were from Brazil, Egypt, Morocco, Iran, Germany, Denmark, Argentina and Mexico. 

The most popular excursion routes were night tours on the Neva River during the opening of the bridges and travels by hydrofoil boats to Peterhof.
