TRADITIONAL WINTER EVENTS AT VDNKH PARK

The cultural and architectural complex VDNKh invites you to traditional winter events in its pavilions. For example, in the Aviation and Cosmonautics Center, everyone can visit the exhibition Fedor Konyukhov: One man can do everything!, which will show visitors the artifacts of the famous traveler.

The Karelia pavilion presents an exhibition of the Polytechnic Museum - Life with Viruses. Guests will be able to learn more about the epidemics that occurred in history, as well as learn effective ways to combat them.

On the exhibition F-1: the Atomic Project that Changed the World, dedicated to the history of the creation of the first atomic reactor in the USSR, five thematic sections of the exhibition talk about the construction of the device, its purpose and significance in the history of Russia.

On the 24th of December, the exhibition Treasures from the Tomb of Tutankhamun, dedicated to the culture of Ancient Egypt, was inaugurated at VDNKH. The exhibition is scheduled to coincide with the centenary of a significant date: In 1922, British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb. Visitors will see more than a hundred exhibits. Guests will find the splendor and grandeur of royal jewels, unusual household items, a golden ceremonial chariot, statues of gods, magical royal mummy jewels, sarcophagi, the most famous bust of Nefertiti and the funerary mask of Tutankhamun and many exact copies of things discovered in the legendary tomb of the pharaoh.
