On September 17-18, Kazan will host the Tasty Kazan gastronomic festival for the eighth time. The festival will take place on the square in front of the Palace of Farmers. Day 1. Vilnius
Arrival in Vilnius, optional transfer to Hotel Radisson Blu Lietuva **** or similar, check-in, welcome meeting.
Day 2. Vilnius

Vilnius is known for its more than 1.200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The morning sightseeing tour includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. The afternoon offers an OPTIONAL excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening enjoy an OPTIONAL folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas.
Day 3. Vilnius / Riga

Heading for Riga, the first stop is the Hill of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania. After crossing into Latvia we soon reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Following a guided tour of the palace we travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga late afternoon, check-in at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija 4* or similar.
Day 4. Riga

Founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, Riga is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon is reserved for an OPTIONAL visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. The evening offers an OPTIONAL organ concert at the Dome Cathedral.
Day 5. Riga

After we got acquainted with Riga we have the possibility of discovering medieval Latvia. The OPTIONAL tour for this morning takes us to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We listen to the medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle and of the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before we return to Riga. The afternoon offers an OPTIONAL visit to the Riga Motor Museum which has an impressive collection of vintage car including a very unique collection of old Soviet limousines from the Kremlin Garage. In the evening enjoy an OPTIONAL Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant Three.
Day 6. Riga / Tallin

The tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu. We do a short tour of the resort before we continue through the North Estonian land of forests and arrive in Tallinn early afternoon, check-in at the Hotel Radisson Blu Olympia 4* or similar.
Day 7. Tallin
Breakfast.
Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, medieval Old Town Hall and Great Guild Hall. In the afternoon an OPTIONAL excursion is offered to Kadriorg Park and visit to KUMU, the award-winning new Estonian Art museum, with its collections of classic and contemporary fine art. The evening offers an OPTIONAL medieval dinner at Restaurant Maikrahv.
Day 8. Tallin / Saint-Petersburg
Breakfast.
Transfer to the bus station (Lux Express) to take a bus to Saint-Petersburg. Arrival in Saint-Petersburg, meeting with the guide and transfer to the hotel, check-in.

In the morning we will make the extensive panoramic tour of the city, named "Venice of the North". We will make stops at the St. Isaak Square, the Field of Mars, Winter Palace and the Neva River embankment etc. Then we will continue with the visit of the interior of the Kazan Cathedral. We will end our excursion with the visit to the Fortress of St. Peter and Paul, the historic core of the city
Day 11. Saint-Petersburg

We will dedicate this morning to a visit of the world-renowned State Hermitage Museum (main building), one of the largest museums in the world. Its collections comprise over three million items, including the largest collection of paintings in the world. Among the treasures of the Hermitage are works by Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Tiziano, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Rembrandt etc.
Day 12. Saint-Petersburg

(OPTIONAL) We recommend you to dedicate this day to the suburbs of St. Petersburg and go to the majestic summer residences of Russian Emperors: Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo) and Peterhof. In the morning we will go to the town of Pushkin to visit the spectacular Catherine Palace with its famous ¨Golden Suite of rooms¨
including the unique Amber Room. Afterwards, we continue to the residence of Peter the Great - Peterhof located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. We will walk along the beautiful parks of Peterhof, enjoy the majestic water cascades, elegant gardens adorned with classical statues.
Day 13. Saint-Petersburg / Moscow

A transfer to the train station is scheduled according to the departure of the train, we will take a high-speed train Sapsan to Moscow – the capital of Russia. Arrival. Transfer to the hotel, check in.
Day 14. Moscow

Today we will get acquainted with Moscow, the capital of Russia, during a panoramic sightseeing tour of the city we will drive along the main streets and squares, make photo stops at the most picturesque places of the city and see the Red Square, Bolshoi Theatre, St. Basil Cathedral, the building of Lubyanka, the former KGB headquarters and many others. We will admire the exterior of the beautiful Novodevichy Convent, visit the famous Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, which has a tragic history of its own. Afterwards, we will go down on a fascinating trip of Moscow Metro that is considered to be among the most beautiful metros in the world. Some say that stations are as beautiful as palace halls. We will continue our tour by walking along famous Arbat street, one of the oldest streets of the city that remains to be the cultural and tourist centre of the capital.
Day 15. Moscow

This morning we will visit the historical and political centre of Moscow – the Kremlin. During an unforgettable walk around the impressive territory of the Kremlin, the ancient citadel of Moscow, we will visit one of the Cathedrals, see the Palace of the President, the Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon.
