Two Russian Capitals and Baltic Capitals

Saint-Petersburg – Moscow – Vilnius – Riga – Tallinn

14 Days / 13 Nights

Day 1. St. Petersburg

Arrival, transfer to the hotel Ambassador 4*, check in.

Day 2. St. Petersburg


In the morning we will go on a panoramic city tour of St. Petersburg, the city which is called ¨Venice of the North¨. We will make several photo stops: on St. Isaac’s square, in the Field of Mars, the Winter Palace and the river Neva. We will finish our tour with a visit to the Peter and Paul Fortress, the cradle of the city.

Day 3. St. Petersburg


We will dedicate this morning to a visit of the world renowned State Hermitage museum, one of the largest museums in the world. Among the treasures of the Hermitage are works by Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Tiziano, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Rembrandt etc.

Day 4. St. Petersburg


Package tour ¨The suburbs of Saint Petersburg¨

Package tour ¨The suburbs of Saint Petersburg¨(Optional). We recommend you to dedicate this day to the suburbs of Saint Petersburg and go to the majestic summer residences of Russian Emperors:  Pushkin (Catherine Palace with Room of Amber) and Peterhof (parks of Peterhof, with majestic water cascades).

Day 5. St. Petersburg/ Moscow


A transfer to the train station is scheduled according to the departure of the train, we will take a high speed train Sapsan to Moscow.

Arrival. Transfer to the Holiday Inn Lesnaya Hotel, check in.

Day 6. Moscow.


During a panoramic sightseeing tour of Moscow, we will drive along the main streets and squares, make photo stops at the most picturesque places of the city and see Red Square, the Bolshoy Theatre, St. Basil Cathedral, the building of Lyubyanka, the former KGB headquarters; and many others. Afterwards we will go down on a fascinating trip of Moscow Metro that is considered to be among the most beautiful metros in the world. Some say that stations are as beautiful as palace halls. We will continue our tour by walking along the famous Arbat street.

Day 7. Moscow / Vilnius


This morning we will visit the historical and political centre of Moscow  – the Kremlin.

During an unforgettable walk around the impressing territory of the Kremlin, the ancient citadel of Moscow we will visit one of the Cathedrals, see the Palace of the President, Senate, the Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon. Your transfer to the airport is scheduled according to the departure of the plane from Moscow to Vilnius. Arrival in Vilnius, transfer to Hotel ARTIS 4* or similar, check-in, welcome drink.

Day 8. Vilnius


Vilnius is known for its more than 1.200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The morning sightseeing tour includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. The afternoon offers an optional excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening enjoy an optional folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas.

Day 9. Riga


Heading to Riga, the first stop is the Hills of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania. After crossing into Latvia we soon reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Following a guided tour of the palace we travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga late afternoon, check-in at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija**** or similar.

Day 10. Riga


Before we get acquainted with Riga we have the possibility of discovering medieval Latvia. The optional tour for this morning takes us to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We listen to the medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida, and we will discover the tombstone of Maja, we will be able to see the ruins of the Teutonic Order castle and the mysterious Gutman cave. Return to Riga. The afternoon offers an optional visit to the Ethnographical Open Air Museum, a spacious exposition of 18th century country life. The evening offers an optional organ concert at the Dome Cathedral

Day 11. Riga


Panoramic tour of Riga including a short walk to the Old town and a visit to the St. Peter’s church. Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon is reserved for an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. In the evening enjoy an optional Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant La Boheme.

Day 12. Tallinn


The tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu, where we have a short walk on the beach of the Baltic sea. We do a short tour of the resort before we continue through the North Estonian land of forests and arrive in Tallinn early afternoon, check-in at the Hotel Sokos Viru 4*or similar.

Day 13. Tallinn


Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, medieval Old Town Hall and Great Guild Hall. In the afternoon an optional excursion is offered to Kadriorg Park and visit to KUMU with its collections of classic and contemporary fine art. The evening offers an optional medieval dinner at Restaurant Peppersack.

Day 14. Tallinn


Optional transfer to airport.
