MIR Travel Company, founded in 1992 as a private agency, now is considered to be one of the largest tour operators in St. Petersburg specialising in the incoming segment of the tourist market.

MIR successfully acts in various sectors of incoming tourism: in the Northwestern Region, Moscow, the Golden Ring towns; works as land operator for sea (Baltic Cruise) and river (St-Petersburg – Moscow – St-Petersburg) cruises. The company develops dynamically by opening new regions for tourism and increasing the amount of offered accommodation, excursion and transportation services.

The main goals of the Company are to develop incoming tourism in Russia and Russian tourist market by increasing the quality of services and using new resources and creativity of the company team; and to attract foreign partners to cultural and historical wealth of Russia.-

At present the MIR is a participator in the international and Russian exhibitions. The MIR is a member of RATA and ATEP. During the last three years the MIR gained many Diplomas at the competitions among the Tourist Industry Companies.

The forty-member team today has offices on Nevsky Prospekt, the main street of St. Petersburg, and the company also has office in Moscow.
